Getting Started

Is this for professional caregivers or families?

Families first. Start by adding close friends, family, and any outside caregivers so everyone stays in the loop and can manage care together. Professionals can use it too.

Can I use this if I'm just getting started?

Yes. Setup takes a few minutes, and we guide you step‑by‑step.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Try CareThru before you commit for 2 weeks before you commit.

Does CareThru work on mobile?

Yes. It works on desktop and mobile web.

Team & Access

Do my helpers need to pay?

Your plan covers your team. The Basic tier includes up to 3 additional care‑team members; larger teams can upgrade.

Can I invite professional caregivers (nurses, aides) to my team?

Yes. Invite them with the right access so they can view or update what's relevant.

What can helpers see or do?

You control access. Set roles and permissions to limit who can view, edit, or be notified.

How do invitations work?

Send an email invite. They accept and immediately see the shared calendar, tasks, and updates you allow.

Can I remove someone from my team?

Yes. You can revoke access anytime; their access ends immediately.

Privacy & Security

What about privacy?

Your data is private to your invited team. We use encryption in transit and at rest and never sell personal data.

Where is my data stored?

In secure, modern cloud infrastructure with encryption and strict access controls.

Features & Usage

Does this replace my doctor's advice?

No. CareThru helps you stay organized and prepared; medical decisions should be made with your clinicians.

How do notifications and reminders work?

Get email and in‑app (Coming soon!) reminders based on your time zone. Choose which events each member is notified about.

Does it work with my calendar?

You can keep appointments organized in CareThru and mirror them to your calendar if you choose.

Can I export or share information with clinicians?

Yes. Export summaries, medication lists, and care logs to PDF for appointments.

Billing & Plans

Can I change plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export your data. We retain or delete it per your choice and our data‑retention policy.

Can I manage more than one care recipient?

Not yet; multi‑profile support is on our roadmap.

How do I delete my account and data?

Use Settings to request deletion, and we'll permanently remove your data after confirmation.

How do I get help?

Use in‑app Help or contact Support. They will get back to you in 48 hours. As always, if it is an emergency, please call 911.
